I have included a list of links here that were particularly useful to me. These are sites that show other types of systems, equipment vendors, and helpful homebrew forums. I am in no way affiliated with any of these sites (except the first two) and I have listed them as a courtesy only. Innovative Homebrew Solutions - This is the company I currently own and operate. We sell the Hop Stopper, Site Tube kits, and a variety of stainless steel valves and fittings. Tennessee Valley Homebrewers - This is my local homebrew club in Knoxville. There is lots of information here on brewing and what's going on in the Southeast. Drop by and check it out! Home Breweries to Check Out Barley's Homebrewery Index - This is a great index of over 100 different homebreweries with links to each site. Check this out for all kinds of ideas on every aspect of your brewery. Keith Roysters RIMS - A great site showing the construction of a traditional RIMS type system. Marty Tippin's 2-Tier Converted Keg System This shows a direct fired mash tun recirculating system. TexanBrew Brewery Scott DeWalt and Sean Lewis' version of a system using a separately controlled heat exchanger. Red Barn Brewery An example of a Heat Exchanger system using the HLT as the heat source. Jean Sebastien and Melanies Homebrewery A very informative site with a great page of links to other homebrewery designs. Click the "Homebrewery Design Pages" link on their page. Cool Gadgets Fermentation Chiller - This site has plans for the Fermentation Chiller designed by Ken Schwartz. Very cool. ProMash - This is a great piece of brewing software. I highly recommend it. There is a free evaluation version of the software at this site. Must See Homebrew Resources Home Brew Digest - A great homebrew forum for any level homebrewer. Brew Your Own Magazine - This is a great magazine that covers the full spectrum of homebrewing from equipment and recipes to troubleshooting and advice from professional brewers. The HERMIT was actually featured in the November, 2002 issue. Grainger - A potential source for magnetic drive pumps. US Plastics - This is where I bought my quick disconnect fittings. The Parker Store - Click here, click the Store Locator button, and then enter your zip code to find out if there is a Parker Store near you. This place is a gold mine of valves, bulkhead fittings, and other nifty things for your brewery. CrankandStein Grain Mills - These guys make a great mill, but be prepared to design and build your own stand for it. Sabco - Great place to get converted kegs, corny kegs and burners. Keg Man - A great place for beer faucets and anything else you can think of for your keg system. Williams Brewing - A source for all kinds of brewing equipment including the keg connectors with the flare connection. McMaster-Carr - A place to find the PC fittings and Flare fittings. No more barbs! Also, since the demise of Moving Brews, it may be a place to find pumps. Acoustica.com - This is a site with a great piece of software for editing mp3 files. Check it out! I know it's not brewing related, but it's really cool. |
